Ascot Vale woman’s death linked to Little River freeway incident
Victorian detective are investigating the deaths of two people on Friday.
The body of a woman was found inside a house on the corner of Ormond Road and Myrnong Crescent in Ascot Vale, in Melbourne’s inner north-west, just after 4pm.
Myrnong Crescent was cordoned off for several hours while police gathered evidence.
Two hours later, police were called to Little River, near Geelong, after a man was found with critical injuries on the Princes Freeway.
He died at the scene.
Police believed the victim and the man were known to each other.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said detectives were not looking for anyone else in relation to the matters.
